Yoga, Mantra, Pranayama & Myth

Samstag, 12.05. - Sonntag, 13.05.2018
Workshop mit Todd Tesen, US

Join Todd for a weekend of yoga, mantra, pranayama and myth. Hear the stories of Ganesha, the elephant-headed God who stands at the very threshold of the sacred and dive deep into the place of yourself. Combining  Anusara Yoga’s āsana technology and the revolutionary philosophic teachings of Douglas Brooks’ Rajanaka Yoga, Todd discovered the potency of scientific sophistication paired with artistic expression.  Body, breath, mind and spirit blended perfectly to uncover their synergetic evolutionary relationship.

Session I, Samstag, 12.05., 10h - 12.30h - ab Basic Level
How did Ganesha get his elephant head? What's the starting point? Explore standing and inversion forms married to myth and kriya.

Session II, Samstag, 12.05., 14.30h - 17.00h - ab Basic Level
As we keep on swaying through the stories, come prepared to get into your hips, and legs. Expect a sprinkle of delicious backbends to immediately tune you to your own heart, and pranayama to reset your entire being.

Session III, Sonntag, 13.05.,10h - 12.30h - ab Basic Level
We finish off our weekend with a sweet full-on practice. Let the myth translate into your being through a series of different shapes and breath.
